Well, where do I begin? My name is Vanessa and I’m 27 years
old, engaged to a wonderful man. Currently, we live with my mother
because we can’t really afford to move out on our own. Also, the
three cats and one bottomless pit on legs (aka the dog) own us.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Web Design, but I work as a motel
front desk clerk. I’ve had this job for right at five years now, and I
like it because even though the pay sucks, I get to meet a lot of
people and some of them are pretty damned interesting.

I’ve been making graphics using various art programs for close to
eight years now. Six of those years, I used Paint Shop Pro. In 2006,
I switched to Photoshop. I still use PSP but if I’m working on my
laptop, I tend to use PS.

I starting pixeling around 2003. I was just wandering around,
reading a few blogs and found that some of the ones I was
reading were members of a forum called The Pixel Mall. Anyone
who has been around the community for a few years will
remember TPM.

I took a break from the community for awhile after TPM closed
because I needed to concentrate on school and I try to stay
away from all the bickering and accusations.
